Hunter Hillenmeyer is expected to be without a job in the coming weeks.

Hillenmeyer is expected to be released by the Chicago Bears once free agency begins. The Bears are going to release Hillenmeyer due to his history of concussions.

He was placed on injured reserve on September 14th, 2010, just days after playing in the first game of the season. He suffered a concussion in the Bears season opener against the Detroit Lions.

He signed a five-year, $13 million contract with the Bears in 2006. This contract will be voided with his release.
