The Cleveland Cavaliers have made it known that they have been interested in adding Center DeAndre Jordan. However, that is reportedly not the only Los Angeles Clippers player they are interested in acquiring.

On Friday night, a report surfaced that the Cavaliers are interested in adding Lou Williams. It is not clear if they would be willing to get one of these players by themselves or in a package deal.

The Clippers reportedly wanted Tristan Thompson, Channing Frye and the Brooklyn Nets first-round draft pick that could potentially be the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft in exchange for Jordan. Frye would then be bought out after going to the Clippers.

Los Angeles is reportedly rebuilding — and Jordan has been on the market since the beginning of the season. Williams recently became available after being traded to the Clippers in a package in the summer blockbuster deal with Chris Paul going to the Houston Rockets.

The Clippers have attempted to re-sign Williams in recent weeks. However, since the Clippers have no shot at making the playoffs, they may be willing to deal him to a contender.

This comes on the heels of a report recently that the Cavaliers could not contend with the Golden State Warriors as presently constructed. Isaiah Thomas, who was acquired in September in a blockbuster deal that sent Kyrie Irving to the Boston Celtics.
