The Cleveland Browns have now have one of the best wide receiver tandems in the entire NFL. The Browns has acquired Odell Beckham Jr. in a trade with the New York Giants.

In exchange for one of the best receivers in the league, the Giants are receiving a 2019 first-round draft pick, a 2019 third-round draft pick, and safety Jabrill Peppers. The first-round draft pick will be the 17th overall pick.

With the Browns, Beckham Jr. will be reunited with his best friend Jarvis Landry. Also, this move makes the Browns one of the best teams in the league.

Besides Beckham Jr. and Landry, the Browns have Baker Mayfield at quarterback. The team also has Kareem Hunt — who will likely be suspended at least 10 games — Nick Chubb, and Duke Johnson at running back and David Njoku at tight end.

The Giants are officially in rebuilding mode with this move. Eli Manning should officially retire, as the team has no hopes of winning in 2019.

New York will draft a quarterback — potentially Dwayne Haskins — and they will build around him in the future. Haskins — the North Jersey native — has already said that he wants to play for the Giants.

The former 12th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft spent the last five seasons with the Giants.

Beckham Jr. appeared in 12 games, all starts, with the Giants this past season. He had 77 receptions for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns.

He also had five carries for 19 yards.

In his career, he has appeared in 59 games, including 56 starts. He has 390 receptions for 5,476 yards and 44 touchdowns.

OBJ also had 15 carries for 74 yards.

The 23-year-old East Orange, New Jersey native gets to go home with this deal. He was the Browns 25th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Peppers will be given an opportunity to replace Landon Collins. He is expected to sign with the Washington Redskins once the new league-year starts.

He appeared in 16 games, including 16 starts, with the Browns this past season. He had 79 tackles, including five tackles for a loss, and four quarterback hits.

Peppers also had 1.0 sacks, two fumble recoveries, and five pass deflections.
