The Philadelphia Flyers believe that center Vincent Lecavaliér will miss two weeks. The team is only referring to his injury as a lower-body injury.

It’s his left foot that is bothering him. On Saturday, he took a shot in the foot from his teammate Mark Streit.

After the game on Saturday, he was listed as day-to-day. He had to go through additional tests to determine how serious the injury is.

While he stayed in the game, he was seen leaving the Wells Fargo Center wearing a walking boot. With Lecavaliér out, the team is expected to move Brayden Schenn to the second-line center.

In the young NHL season, Lecavaliér has played in all three games. He has a goal and two assists for 3 points. He also has a -1 in the plus-minus rating.
