According to Ray Lewis, Michael Jordan’s only regret in his NBA career is playing for the Washington Wizards. The problem when you’re super competitive, like Jordan was, is you do not know when to step away from the game.
Jordan spent two seasons with the Wizards. Those two yards did not live up to the 12-plus years he had with the Chicago Bulls, including his six NBA championships.
When Jordan went to the Wizards, he came out of retirement for a second-time. He played in Washington from 2001 to 2003.
“MJ, I never forget, said this to me: ‘The only thing I regret, is putting on another uniform,” Lewis said on FOX’s Speak for Yourself on Friday.
Jordan, while a member of the Wizards, averaged 21.2 points per game in 142 games. As a member of the Bulls, he also won 10 scoring titles and five MVPs.
Lewis, who retired from the NFL a few years back after playing 17-years with the Baltimore Ravens, won two Super Bowls with the team. He was also a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year award winner.
