The Robbinsville Little League Softball team has won the Little League World Series in Portland, Oregon. Robbinsville, who was representing the East Region, brings home the crown after making it to the semi-finals last season.
MacKenzie Medders pitched a complete game en route to a 4-1 in over Southwest Region, represented by Bossier City, Louisiana. This is Robbinsville’s first Little League World Series win. 
In 2008, they were the national runner-up.
In the first inning, the East went out to a 4-0 lead. In the third inning, Southwest scored their lone run of the game.
Then, Medders would close the door to give the East the win.
